The figures below belong to a fictional student, invented for this page — no real student's results are published here. Everything else is exactly what the report does: the same measurements, the same charts, the same wording. Notes in red explain what each part is for.
The same student, on two Saturdays, with no studying in between, moves about sixty points on their own. A single number pretends that variation does not exist.
So the report prints 1210, most likely 1170–1250. The width of that band is the honest answer to “what would they get next week?” — and it is why the guarantee is written against sixty points rather than any improvement at all.

The topic with the worst percentage is usually the smallest corner of the test. Algebra is about twice the size of geometry on every SAT, so the same five mistakes are worth roughly twice as much there — and algebra can be taught from scratch in a way circle theorems cannot.
So skills are ranked by what the points are worth and how teachable they are, not by which percentage looks worst. That ranking is the session plan.
Answered inside a normal amount of time and got it wrong. A genuine gap in the material. These are taught.
Right method, three times the pace it needed. That time came straight out of the questions at the end. These are drilled, not taught.
Never properly reached. Nothing here says the student cannot do them — the section ended first. This is a pacing fix.
Every one of those twenty-four looks identical on a score report: a wrong answer. They need three completely different weeks of work, and a program that treats them the same will spend most of its time on the wrong one.
This student would be handed more content by most tutors. Thirteen of their twenty-four misses are clock problems, not knowledge problems. More content would have made it worse.
Each dot is one question — time spent, against whether it was right. Above the line is correct, below is wrong. Left is faster than this student’s own median pace, right is slower.
Six questions answered quickly and wrongly. That is not a knowledge gap and it is not a pacing gap — it is a student who decided early and moved on. Those six come back fastest of anything on this page, and no score report in this market would show you they exist.
Look at row four. Two of four is 50% — and four questions is barely better than a coin toss. The true figure could sit anywhere from roughly 15% to 85%. That range has a name, a Wilson interval, and it is printed beside every area the report names: narrow means we know, wide means we do not.
Look at eight topics through samples that small and one will always look alarming by chance alone. So each is first pulled back toward the student’s own average, hardest where the evidence is thinnest. It has to still look bad afterwards before we will name it — which is why an honest report sometimes names nothing at all.
Two students can hand in the same 1210 and need opposite things. One needs content, one needs a stopwatch, one needs to stop second-guessing. All of that is measurable — it just takes more work than printing a score and naming a weak topic.
