Moretti Test Prep & Tutoring · morettitutoring.com

Effective September 6, 2026

1. Who This Covers

This policy explains what information Moretti Test Prep & Tutoring ("Moretti Tutoring," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Luca Moretti, collects through morettitutoring.com and the student portal, why we collect it, where it is kept, and how you can have it removed. It applies to prospective clients who contact us through the site and to enrolled students and their parents or guardians who use the portal.

Most students are under 18. Where that is the case, a parent or legal guardian enrols the student and agrees to our Terms of Service on their behalf, and the rights described in this policy may be exercised by that parent or guardian.

2. Information You Give Us Directly

When you enquire through the site. The inquiry form collects the parent's or student's name, email address, phone number, the student's grade, the subject you need help with, and any message you write. We use this only to reply to you and to arrange tutoring.

When a student sets up the portal. Signing in uses Google. We receive from Google only the student's verified email address, the name on their Google account, and their profile picture, together with a permanent identifier for that account. We never see, receive, or store a Google password. Signing in with Google gives us no access to the student's Gmail, contacts, calendar, or files. We use the verified email address to identify the student on return visits and to share their materials folder with them.

During onboarding. The portal asks the student for their full name, their intended SAT test date, a target score, any testing accommodations they receive (extended time or extra breaks), optionally a previous PSAT or SAT score, and optionally a parent or guardian's name and email address for progress updates.

3. Information Created by Using the Portal

When a student takes a diagnostic or practice test, or uses the practice tools, the portal records their answers, section and total scores, which questions they got wrong, how long they spent, the skills those questions test, questions they save for later, vocabulary progress, and whether assigned homework has been completed. This is the substance of the service: it is what the score reports, the weekly progress summaries, and the personalised practice recommendations are built from.

4. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not use the information you give us — your name, your email address, your phone number, or anything a student does in the portal — for advertising, and we never upload it to an advertising platform. The student portal carries no advertising or analytics trackers of any kind. We do not take payment card details through this website. The one thing we do that involves third-party cookies is described in the next section.

5. Analytics and Advertising on the Public Website

The public pages of morettitutoring.com — everything outside the student portal — use two third-party measurement tools, so that we can tell how many people find the site and which pages lead to an enquiry:

Google Analytics records anonymous, aggregated usage: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor was, what kind of device they used, and whether the enquiry form was submitted. We do not send Google your name, email address, or phone number.

The Meta pixel records the same page views and form submissions and reports them to Meta, which allows us to show our advertising to people who have already visited this website. This is a cross-site advertising cookie, and it is the one place where a visit here can be recognised elsewhere on Facebook or Instagram. We do not send Meta your name, email address, or phone number either.

None of this runs on the student portal. No page a student sees after signing in loads either tool, and no test score, answer, report, or piece of portal activity is ever sent to Google Analytics, to Meta, or to any advertiser.

You can switch both off. Every major browser can block third-party cookies, and Meta lets you limit ad targeting from your Facebook or Instagram account settings; Google offers an official Analytics opt-out add-on for desktop browsers. Blocking either one has no effect on your ability to use this site or to contact us.

6. Where It Is Stored

Student records are held in a private Google Sheet, and each student's materials are held in a Google Drive folder, both inside Luca Moretti's Google account. Google acts as our infrastructure provider and processes this data on our behalf under its own terms.

Each student's Drive folder is shared only with that student's own verified email address. No student can see another student's folder, scores, reports, or records.

The portal also stores information in the student's own web browser — a signed sign-in token so they do not have to sign in repeatedly, and a cached copy of their progress so the portal works smoothly. That data sits on the student's device and can be cleared by signing out or clearing the browser's site data.

7. Emails We Send

We email test results and portal notifications to Luca Moretti. If a parent or guardian email address has been provided, we send that address a weekly progress summary containing the student's latest score, their trend, their current weak area, and what is being done about it. A guardian can be removed from that summary at any time by asking, or by the student clearing the contact in the portal's settings. We may also email a student or parent a link to set up portal access.

8. Who Can See What

Luca Moretti can see all student records; this is necessary to teach and to prepare each student's programme. Students can see their own records only. Parents and guardians receive the weekly summary described above and can request their child's full record at any time. No one else has access.

9. How Long We Keep It

We keep a student's records while they are enrolled and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning student's history and score progression remain intact. You can ask us to delete a student's records sooner, and we will.

10. Your Choices and How to Exercise Them

You may ask us to show you what we hold about a student, correct anything inaccurate, delete a student's records, stop the weekly guardian emails, or disconnect a Google account from the portal. Contact Luca Moretti at (201) 275-2791. We will confirm your identity as the student or their parent or guardian before acting, and we will not charge you for these requests.

11. Security

Portal access requires a verified Google sign-in, and each student's account must be approved by Luca Moretti before it can see anything. Sessions expire, and access for any account can be revoked immediately, which also removes that account's access to the student's materials folder. Data is stored inside Google's services and protected by that account's own security, including its two-step verification.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects a student's personal information, we will tell the affected families.

12. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects how student information is handled, we will update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, tell enrolled families directly.

13. Contact

Questions about this policy, or any request described in section 10, can be directed to Luca Moretti at (201) 275-2791 or through morettitutoring.com.
